All-in-one infotainment app for the German SF Universe

Bringing news, listings and recommendations across every major streaming provider to millions of fans.

How HexaFlow built it: one mobile app that gathers what is streaming across twenty-plus providers into a single catalogue, lets fans filter it down to what they can actually watch, and gives them a daily reason to open it.

The problem

A genre scattered across every service.

Fans of a genre are spread across twenty-plus streaming providers, each with its own catalogue and release schedule. Following what is actually available means checking all of them.

The information exists but is fragmented, and no single provider has any incentive to tell you what is on a competitor.

01 Aggregate the landscape

Every provider, one catalogue.

Content across major providers — Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Sky, ARD, ZDF, Apple TV+ and others — is brought into one catalogue.

Aggregated listings across more than twenty streaming providers with rich filtering. A fan stops checking service by service: the listings arrive in one place, each still saying where it streams.

1 of 12 checked

Tap a service to look inside. Without an aggregator, that is the only way to know.

02 Make it filterable

From everything streaming to what you can actually watch.

Sorting and filtering by provider, format, age rating, year and rating lets fans narrow a large catalogue to what they can actually watch.

  • Provider. Keep only the services a fan cares about — one, several, or all of them.
  • Format. Series or films, the same split as the app's home tabs.
  • Age rating, year and rating — narrowing by audience, by era and by reception.
  • Sorted by what is new, by the release calendar, A–Z, by rating or by year.

03 Deliver news and tips

A reason to open it when nobody is searching.

Daily film and series recommendations and genre news sit alongside the listings, giving the app a reason to be opened when nobody is searching for anything specific.

  • A daily tip — one film or series recommendation, every day, with where it streams.
  • Genre news in the same feed, split by series and films like the listings.
  • Daily recommendations and genre news reaching millions of fans.
